A rooftop selfie is the kind of break I like during shoots.

About

I am Hammad Iqbal, a professional photographer and graphic designer from Doha, Qatar. As a child, I was drawn to the artistic language of forms, colors, textures, and patterns, finding inspiration in music album covers, movie posters, and captivating photos. Although I initially pursued a scientific education, a fortunate accident in 1999 led me to a design career. I balanced work and study, earning a diploma in Professional Photography from the New York Institute of Photography and graduating in Graphic Design from Sessions College for Professional Design.

In 2013, I embarked on my photography journey in Doha, taking inspiration from Dubai's cityscapes. My work has gained recognition both locally and globally. I have had the privilege of serving as a Nikon School instructor, conducting workshops, and hosting numerous successful Astrophotography workshops under my own brand. My work has been featured by Space.com, International Space Station, and local media outlets such as Doha News, I Love Qatar and Marhaba. Additionally, my articles on astrophotography, published by Digital Photography School and 500px, have gained popularity worldwide.

While I offer photography services for high-end real estate and architectural projects, my unwavering dedication to continuous learning and sharing my knowledge with the community remains a core part of my journey. I hope you also get to benefit from my photography wisdom.
