Luxe Voilé
Can a woman be fashionable, sophisticated, and graceful in a veil? Yes, she can. This series was conceived to show that any woman while adhering to her traditions and culture, can still make a powerful fashion statement wearing a Niqab (face veil), a Hijab (head cover), and an Abaya (traditional Middle-eastern body gown).
This was a fun personal project that saw the light of day thanks to my friends Arif Hussain and Saad Mehmood.
Hero Result with a Zero Budget
Having the biggest studio floor, the highest resolution camera, the most expensive lighting gear, and the biggest price tag does not always guarantee the best results. The capability of a tool is only limited to the extent of one’s skill.
